One of the things that I love to do the most is draw, especially drawing people. I am currently training to participate in the Nations Triathlon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training “Racing for Gage” are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of Gage Holmes and of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. The event takes place on September 12th, just 5 days before Gage’s last day of chemotherapy! I have never accepted money for a drawing, but thought this would be a fun way to raise money! Below are some examples of my work, which I drew from photographs. I am hoping to get $150 for an 8x10 drawing. For anything larger we would need to talk about cost as it takes more time. If you are interested, please email me at summerkwiese@gmail.com.
